Traverse City Whiskey Co., founded by Chris Fredrickson, Jared Rapp, and Moti Goldring, boasts an impressive lineup of flavorful whiskeys, including their pure and uncut barrel proof bourbon. Distilled from a mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, this bourbon varies in proof from 115-120, yet maintains a surprisingly smooth and complex flavor profile. In fact, in 2018, Wine Enthusiast awarded it a score of 91 points. This passion project was inspired by Fredrickson's discovery of his great-grandfather's whiskey distilling patents from the 1920s, and has since evolved into a thriving brand.
